I am a Third Year student at the University of Toronto, double majoring in Computer Science and Commerce(Grad. 2027).
My academic background includes coursework in software engineering, data structures, databases, and web programming, complemented by
involvement in student clubs like the Google Developer Student Club and UofT CTF.
Outside of academia, I have experience as a Student Software Developer at Bellwoods Strategic Capital,
where I led a team of developers to build a full-stack mobile app focused on mental and physical health.
My contributions included optimizing API calls, improving load times, conducting backend deployments with
Django and Docker, and maintaining strong communication between the team and stakeholders. Click below to check out
my projects!
Here you will find all the projects I have a worked on over the years, including technical details and repository links. Feel free to check them out!
At my current internship at Mozilla, I have worked in collaboration with other engineers on
Mozilla's open-source localization software Pontoon,
which provides volunteer-led translations to millions of users of Firefox, Thunderbird,
Seamonkey, and other Mozilla products worldwide.
During my tenure, I have mainly developed with a frontend consisting of React,
JQuery and Jinja templating, along with a mixed backend of
Django REST Framework and GraphQL.
The backend is deployed to Docker and hosted on Heroku,
with Github CI/CD.
This app was developed in partnership with Bellwoods Strategic Capital.
Its main objective is to provide gameification to specific day–to–day
tasks with the hopes of improving the user's lifestyle, along with their mental and physical health.
The app with developed with Expo–React Native, with Django backend and a PostgreSQL database.
The backend was deployed to Docker and hosted on Heroku, with Github CI/CD and Jest testing.
Its currently availible on the Apple App Store, so try it out now!
This webapp is an open source repository of company financial information that is typically accessed through SEC.gov.
Since as of 2024, sites like Yahoo Finance do not have the option for downloading and accessing a complete historical
record of various financial statements for free, so I took it upon myself to make that possible. This information is publicly
availible from the SEC.gov website, but it's a ton of information to process. With StockSearch,
ordinary people can easily download a complete history of company financial statements and do their own analysis.
It also provides other functions, like looking at delayed quotes, charts, financial ratios and much more!
The webapp itself is developed with React, Tailwind CSS and DaisyUI, with a backend consisting of
Django API calls. It utilizes an MySQL database.
The data was aggregated via web scraping, and I utilized Jupyter Notebook, SQLAlchemy, Pandas, and a vital
library written by
Hans Joerg.
This is one of my smaller projects. Since me and my friend are fans of Star Wars, I decided to create a Discord bot that collects all our Tiktok and Youtube Shorts videos about Star Wars, so that we can access them a random for convenience. I also plan to have the bot text Star Wars quotes at random and be able to commmunicate with users. The bot utilizes the Discord.js API with a PostgreSQL database, along with Sequelize to set up the models and database connection.
Ah yes, this website that you are currently viewing is also considered a part of my portfolio.
It's built with vanilla HTML/CSS, and I added some Javascript libraries to try to impress people.
Since I like taking photos of my life, here's a gallery of moments that I found asthetically pleasing, in the hopes that you can better understand who I am.
